Engage Mission

RiverFront founded Engage in 2019 with the goal of changing and improving the experience for women in financial services. The mission of Engage is to engage women in our industry through mentorship, education, and support. Engage recognizes the importance of instilling confidence in women as investors and creating equitable experiences in the workplace.

Supporting Financial Advisors

Our goal is to work with advisors to provide meaningful communication strategies to ensure we are reaching women investors. We work with our advisor partners across the country to highlight how women’s natural strengths provide advantages in investing and work to increase confidence in their female clients.

Engage Insights: Articles addressing topics and needs of female clients and women in financial services

Advisor Presentations & Client Presentations: Virtual and in person programming for Advisors & their clients to bridge the knowledge gap for female investors and bolster confidence.

Engage Conference: In 2022, RiverFront hosted the Engage Women’s Conference in Richmond, Virginia with the goal of bringing together women in finance for perspective, mentorship, and inspiration. The day and a half event boasted education, panel discussions from industry leaders, workshops, and networking.

Supporting the Pipeline: Externships

RiverFront’s Externship Program invites young women pursuing careers in finance (or related fields), to spend a day in our office. The Externs have the opportunity to learn about RiverFront, and spend time with individuals on our investment team, our business operations teams, and our marketing and sales teams. Our goal is to provide them with as many connections as possible, along with great information, insights, and encouragement.

Supporting Our Associates

RiverFront Engage strives to create equitable experiences for its associates, support leadership development, and built community. The program supports a mentorship program, hosts a book club, provides educational programming, and creates networking opportunities. Past guest speakers include industry leaders and financial professionals, as well as peers.
