Pete earned a BS in Accounting from The College of William & Mary and an MBA from the University of Richmond. He later served as an adjunct faculty member in the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond, teaching an undergraduate class in finance.

He also serves on the board of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science Foundation (VIMS). VIMS is currently among the largest marine research and educational centers in the United States.
Both art and science are evident in Pete’s family tree, as his personality encompasses the best traits of his two grandfathers – one an Irish salesman and the other a German accountant. Pete is as comfortable meeting with advisors and their clients as he is analyzing RiverFront’s financial results.
“I am passionate about providing educational opportunities for the most vulnerable in our society. Education creates opportunity and it can change lives. That’s why my wife and I are so committed to the Richmond Cristo Rey High School where both serve on the Board of Directors. Riverfront is also a Corporate Work Study Partner and welcomes four Cristo Rey Students who intern with us as a way to pay part of their tuition each year.”
