As the Technical Project Manager, he is responsible for instilling Agile methodologies and manage IT best practices. He brings with him eight years of experience in Software Development and IT Project Management. Prior to joining Riverfront, Deron worked for Wells Fargo as a Web Services Migration Consultant, a Project Manager at a Local IT firm and a Software Developer for a DoD contracting company before that.
Deron received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Math and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Lynchburg in 2014 and 2018. He also serves in the Virginia Army National Guard as a Blackhawk Crew Chief and Repairman and intends to become a Blackhawk Pilot.
When Deron isn’t working, he can be found running in Spartan obstacle course races, in his back yard smoking a Brisket, or traveling and discovering new parts of the world. He is an avid sports junkie and plays in anything from a local lacrosse league to maintaining a 10 stroke Golf Handicap. He is originally from Texas and loves to watch the Cowboys because “This is the year”, after all.
