Bruce Batson

Bruce serves as an Information Technology Specialist\Developer within the Technology & Innovation Group.

He has experience as a Java Developer and in IT Support Services. Bruce interned at the National Institute of Standards and Technology where he created enhancements for their Access Control Policy Tool.

He received a BS Science with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics from Virginia State University.

Most of Bruce’s free time is spent engaging in his favorite hobby -- gaming -- which includes video games, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering. All of his time is not spent inside though. Having a high school track star for a mother, and a football\wrestling coach for a father, he did inherit a love of sports! Soccer and wrestling are his two favorites.
